Sugar Bash!
I wanted to share a new sub service that's starting this fall.  I am assuming it is similar to Cravebox, a lifestyle box.  We shall see!

Baby wipes for make-up? YES.

I have been using baby wipes to remove my make-up for some time now.  But I still meet people from time to time that think that's crazy.  It doesn't work they say.  It wont remove my mascara like the specifically designed make-up remover towelettes will, they say.

I have to convince them.

Many of you are already hip to this idea.  Why pay much more per wipe for a beauty branded wipe over the much cheaper and gentle baby wipe?

I personally like Pampers brand best.  And out of their wipes, I prefer Pampers Sensitive.

Why?

The sensitive has no dyes, no perfumes, and is much gentler on my skin.  Even the eye area doesn't sting with these.

I have also tried the Pampers Unscented, but I don't feel these are as gentle and also they don't remove eye makeup as well.  Go figure, who knows why.

Let's compare:

At Walgreens a reusable box dispenser of Pampers Sensitive wipes, with 64 wipes inside costs $3.29, for a cost per wipe of 5cents.

These were the best value.  No decision on the kind other than price was made.  These are 50 count towelettes of Maybellline Expert Eyes Make-Up Remover Towelettes that sells for $6.99.  That's 13.9cents each.

Massive price difference.  For the price you could use 2 baby wipes for the price of one towelette, and still save money.

Yay for sales and drug store make-up!!

I hit a few bargains and got some great drug store buys.  Make-up of course, gah!!

Love the Wet n Wild eyeshadow pallettes!  So much color for cheap!!
Knock on Wood pallette was my fave!!  Great colors for hazel eyes.

MyGlam Bag July

Okay, so far this is my favorite subscription for the month.

MyGlam Bag is $10/month and it is not based on individuality.  One size fits all.  Some subscribers may get different products, for instance, this month you could receive one of 2 moisturizers and one of two lip products.  So everone got one moisturizer and a lip product, but it was random which colors/brand you got.

MyGlam is also a BAG, not a BOX, so each month you get your products in super cute reusable bags.

Also, their beauty gurus are some of the best from YouTube.

This month's bag was AWESOME!  I got 2 full size products- a lip stain and a nail polish.  And the other samples were good sized deluxe samples.

Check out my vlog for deets.

July Beauty Army Box

AHHH!  Beauty subscriptions!!  Love them!  The second one I got in the mail is from Beauty Army.

This sub is a monthly one and is $12/month.  It is different than others because you take a beauty profile quiz, it gives you recommended samples, and you choose 6 out of 9 to be in your box.  If you don't like enough samples, you can retake your quiz or just try each day during your 5 day selection window to get new options.  You can also decide to skip a month without penalty or having to cancel your subscription.

I like that I get choices.  I wish that instead of a profile they would just let you choose from all samples.  OR they would let you choose from 12 samples.  More than 9, anyway.  That way you're more apt to be satisfied.  Just my opinion.

My samples were hit and miss.  I LOVED the Besame Crimson Rouge, but hated the Delizioso Cream.

My youtube review give you all the ins and outs of the products I selected.

July Beauty Fix Box

This month I went overboard subscribing to beauty boxes!!  I signed up for Beautyfix, Beauty Army, MyGlam Bag, and Birchbox.  Pheww!

Beauty Fix came in first.  It is a quarterly subscription that costs $49.99 per quarter.  It carries high end products of all kinds and you choose your own products from a large list.

The shipping is FREE, so that's one more expense you don't have to worry about adding in.  My shipment was fast, arriving in about 4 business days.

I could post all the separate pics I took, but they are all here in my YouTube which is straight forward.

I also was able to use a coupon for $30 off, which made my box only $19.99 for all this stuff!!  This month they offered a $20 off coupon, so apparently it is a regular occurrence, if you are budget -minded, like me.

I am VERY satisfied with the products I received for the proce i paid.  I will be doing this again in the fall if I am able to get another coupon code.
